Steve Banic Obituary
Steve retired from the Barberton Police Department with 33 years of service. He was a member of St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church, FOP #13 and Firestone VFW Post #3383.
Steve will be dearly missed by his family.
He is survived by wife Marie, sons Eric (Trish) and Kurt, daughter Londi (Bob), stepchildren Ralph, Linda, Gary, Beth (Scott), many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pleasant View Nursing Home for all the wonderful care they provided.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday 10 a.m. at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church, 4019 Manchester Road Akron, Ohio 44319 Fr. Louis Thomas Celebrant.
Burial Holy Cross Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by Firestone VFW #3383. Family will receive friends Sunday 2 to 4 p.m. at Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home 566 W. Park Ave. Barberton 44203
