Steve Risinger Obituary
Steve was an assistant manager and buyer for West Department Stores. He also worked for El Dorado Water Utilities. Steve was a member of East Faulkner Church of Christ and a devoted Razorback fan.
Honorary pallbearers include, Craig Bonner, Doug Bonner, Ran Smith, Mike Smith, Steve Burton, Matt Elliott, George Chitwood, Steve Carroll, David Lewis, Gene Springfield and Rusty Risinger.
Survivors include his wife Renee Risinger of Felsenthal, AR and step-daughter, Amber Combs of Austin, TX; his brother, Jack Risinger and wife Tami of Conway, AR; two nephews Chase and Grant Risinger; father and mother-in-law, John and Joy Brown of Sunnyville, TX; a host of loving relatives, friends and special cousin, Ginger Risinger.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Young's.
A memorial service will be held 11am Monday, November 7, 2011 at Young's Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to El Dorado Boy's and Girl's Club, 1201 NW Avenue, El Dorado AR 71730.

Renee & Jack, Steve was one of the nicest guys I ever met! He tried to teach me how to slalom skiing, which I failed, but He never gave up! When I first moved back to ELDO to raise my kids in our home town, Steve would show up with my brother Robin and my kids thought He was their "UNCLE STEVE"! We watched many a football game together and of course taught my children how to "CALL THE HOGS"! So this is for Uncle Steve, WOOO PIG SOOIE! We Love You and We will miss you! Daddy Rye,
When I moved to Felsenthaw, I had no idea that the Good Lord above would be bringing 2 amazing individuals into my life.... that would be in my life to stay forever.... Living next door to you guys, was such a blessing. Throughout every season, whether we were sittin in the rockin chairs on the front porch in the spring, or sittin on the couch watchin the Razorbacks in the fall, no matter what day of the year.... I knew I always had a room at the Risinger's. I specifically remember the day that yal got married, we went into Elm Street Bakery, and you introduced me as your adopted daughter.... that statement turned out to be so true. I am truly a lucky girl to have had the chance to know such a wonderful, loving and caring man. Rye, you will always be in my heart and live thru my soul.
