Steven "Craig" Bash

CORTLAND - Steven "Craig" C. Bash, 35, died Monday, March 9, 2015 at his residence. He was born on December 20, 1979 in Warren, the son of the Jackie Bash, Sr. and Tamra (Burgermyer) George. Steven was a graduate of Champion High School and had worked as a warehouse supervisor at Triad, Inc. He enjoyed playing his guitar, going camping and fishing, and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. Above all, he loved spending time with family and friends. He was a wonderful person with a big heart and will be missed by many. Memories of Steven will be carried on by his mother, Tamra George of Warren; wife, Shawna L. Bash of Champion; brothers, Michael Burgermyer of Champion, Anthony Koren of Niles, Jason Bash of Warren, Jack Bash, Jr. of Warren, Christopher Bash of Warren, Brandon Bash of McDonald; sister, Jennifer (Philip) Brady of Leavittsburg; uncle, Jason Burgermyer of Cortland; step-mother, Pamela Furbee of Warren; step-sons, Lyle Almburg, Eric Almburg of Champion; many nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles; and his dogs, Scrappy and Smokey. He was preceded in death by his father, Jackie L. Bash, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Elinor Bash; maternal grandfather, Jan Burgermyer; and most recently, maternal grandmother, Barbara Bradford with whom he was extremely close and loved very much. Family will receive friends at a gathering on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Warren.
