I am just now learning about Steve’s passing. I am so very sorry for your loss. I greatly appreciated knowing Steve as an educator focused on children and willing to challenge the norm to encourage school improvement. I also appreciated his dry sense of humor. Rest In Peace Steve.

My deepest sympathy and prayers to all. Having lost a son and a husband, I know the pain and overwhelming grief you are all experiencing. I know you will all remember the little things the shared smiles the warm hugs, and the laughter. Sometimes it's hard not to wish for one more day, one more word, one more chance to say goodbye. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.
