Steven Christo Obituary
Steven Christo, age 90, previously of Monroe, CT, passed away peacefully with family by his side on February 3, 2023. Born September 14, 1932, in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Peter and Elizabeth Mustka Christo.
A very proud veteran of the Korean War, he served in the Navy on the USS Coral Sea CVA 43. He spent the majority of his adult work life as a route salesman for Hostess Cakes, Teamsters Union Local 443.
In addition to Patricia, his wife of 63 years, he is survived by his three children, Diane McIntire (John) of Basking Ridge, NJ, Robert (Mary Cebik), of Monroe, Sharon MacEachern (Scott) of Vernon, VT. Steve's pride and joy were his four grandchildren: Kelsey MacEachern Canty (Kevin), Valentina MacEachern, Shane McIntire and Blake McIntire (Paulina). He lovingly leaves his brother, John Christo (Patricia) and many nieces and nephews. Steve was predeceased by his siblings Katherine Ziu (Mitch), Tom Christo and Clanty Seferi.
The family would like to thank the staff of SeaCrest, West Haven, for their devoted care of Steve.
Family and friends may greet the family on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. A prayer service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be held privately.
