Born on September 13, 1953, in Peoria, Illinois, Steven attended Limestone Community High School before his career with Caterpillar Tractor.

Steven found joy in life's simple pleasures-golfing, fishing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with friends, family and his beloved dog Buddy.

Steven is survived by his sons, Matthew Cole, Jonathan Cole, and his sister,

Jamie Cole. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard Cole and Barbara Spence

We are saddened by the loss of your father and brother. We never met you, but heard many good things about you. We will truly miss our golf buddy that we visited in the desert every year from San Francisco.
