Dennis Bringer Obituary

Dennis  Kevin Bringer

June 29th 1951 - October 29th 2021

Dennis ("Denny") Kevin Bringer, 70, of Spring Texas passed away on Friday October 29th, 2021 after   a courageous 3 year battle with Lung Cancer.  He was born on Friday June 29th 1951 in Hardin  Illinois.

Denny is survived by his sisters Pamela Hoffman of Spring, Texas; Betty Clutts and her husband  Charles of Jefferson City Missouri; and one brother Jeffrey Bringer and his girlfriend  Melissa Newton  of Kansas City  Missouri.

He is also survived by his nieces Kelly Hoffman and her children Samantha and Lyndsey; and Sarah, Crystal and Courtney Bringer; his nephews Shaun Hoffman with wife Nicole Chambers Hoffman and their children Hannah, Grayson and Bryce; Mike Clutts with his wife Tammy; Charles Clutts Jr with his wife April and their children Anthony, Tyler, Joshua, Katie, Jordo and Madisyn and nephew, Colin Jordan.

Denny grew up in Granite City Illinois where he graduated from Granite City High School in 1969. He joined the United States Army in 1972 and proudly served his country with dignity and honor as a member of the 82 Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina until 1977. He received numerous decorations  during his years in the service including the National Defense Service Medal, the    Parachute Badge, the Expert Infantryman Badge, the M16al Expert Rifle Marksmanship qualification  and the Good Conduct  Medal.

Very mechanically inclined, Denny seemed to be able to almost instinctively work on just about any type of machinery. For many years he worked as an auto mechanic in St. Louis Missouri accumulating along the way a lifetime of very dear friends whom he loved and cherished often referring to them as "family". He was also a gifted artist who could create incredible drawings based only on memories he collected during his life.  He loved nature, being outside roaming thru the woods and living off the land.

In 2011 Denny moved from Missouri to Spring Texas to live with his sister Pamela Hoffman and her family. While living in Texas, he was employed as a maintenance consultant at Corrugated Concepts & Packaging, Inc. His easy-going nature, subtle sense of humor, and favorite greeting of "Hi Ya Kiddo" to everyone quickly made him a favorite among his new co-workers. He also loved a good debate and by moving to Spring, Texas he found his favorite person to argue with in Diane Beets, Pamela Hoffman's sister-in-law. However, although he tried and tried and tried and tried, he never seemed to be able to win a single argument with her.

Denny is preceded in death by his son Richard Bringer and daughter-in-law Tammy Bringer; his sister Mary Sauls; his brother Johnny Lane; his beautiful niece Karie Shae Hoffman; his brother-in-law Dennis Hoffman and his parents Charles and Evelyn Bringer of Granite City Illinois. Along with many other family members and loved ones.

While his passing has broken our hearts and filled our lives with sorrow and sadness, we are relieved that his suffering has mercifully ended and he is finally free of pain. We love him dearly and will miss him greatly. He may be gone from our sight, but he will forever be in our hearts.

Until we meet again dear brother, uncle, and wonderful  friend.

Dennis is always been wonder filled towards me... He was uncle Denny to me. I learned this pass time now and learned I wasn't the only kiddo. I've been seeing your memory in my days lately. And I love that feeling of not being alone or deprived because you were and that lingers. Thank you for the service towards our country without bragging boasts or mention. Reuniting with you Uncle Denny will be off the bucket list and a certainty after all days. I solute you soldier uncle Denny.

Uncle Denny my prayers were answered, though not in the way we all would have liked. You are no longer in pain which is a blessing. You are missed by all who loved you. Mindy

Such a fun guy. Always had something funny to say or talk about. I never saw Denny in a bad mood, ever. His sweet nature and fun personality will definitely be missed. Rest in Heavenly peace, Denny.

You were my brother, my best friend, and Uncle to my children. I've loved you for 35+ years, and will miss you more. (Btw, ask God if he knows why hummingbirds hum, lol )
