My sympathy and condolences to the Cossey family. I knew Steve for only four years as my football coach. He showed passion to teach young men how to play with heart and dignity. I considered him the best coach I ever had and carried that passion throughout my life as a father and coach. God Bless you Coach!

I will always thank God for you Pastor Cossey. We attended Rock Valley College together back in the day...and from that time as young adults, I am not surprised that you became a successful Pastor because the love of God was awesome in your life even way back then. You were always such a great blessing to my son and I when we visited Total Faith Church. Thank you for being you.

To the Family and Friends of Rev Cossey, May the light of Christ illuminate your way in the days and months to come. Many of my earliest memories include the Cossey family as children growing up in SW Rockford. The announcement of his passing was truly a shock. Praying for each of you as you mourn his loss.

On behalf of the Brenda Reddic and family, we would like to offer our sincere and deepest condolences to the family of Pastor Steve Cossey.
Pastor Cossey was a servant of God who loved God, His wife, God's people, his church family and he never met a stranger.
Pastor Cossey and Renade always welcomed me into their home I was treated as family, the hospitality shown to me was above expectations. We would laugh and have a joyous time in the Lord.
Thank you Pastor Cossey for allowing your light to shine in my life. Thank you Renade for your love and kindness towards me. I'll never forget what you and Pastor Cossey did for me. I love you and God bless you.
