It's taken me until today to finally write something here... I knew that when I wrote something here then that's when it was really real.
Steve was a really good friend to me. The older I get and the more people I meet, the more I realize just how truely one in a million he really was.
I have a lot of good memories with him (check out Remembering Steve Fortier on YouTube). Hanging out, crankin' up music, summertime parties and all the practices, talking until the sun came up... I can't believe I'll never see him again.
I will miss you forever, my friend.

Stevie, you were like a brother to me. Judy, Joe and I loved you very much! I will never forget the good times we had growing up together! Your presence made my childhood tolerable... I will miss you and remember you with love ~always.

Steve - Every time I would see you, you would always have the biggest smile and treat me so tenderly while at the same time, giving one of my brothers heck for something that they had done! They looked up to you and loved you dearly and I thank you for that. You're smile will be with me always and you'll be in my hearts neighborhood forever. RIP my good friend. Love you!

My thoughts of my cousin "Stevie" go way back to when we were little kids. We hung out all the time, we were buddies. Judy, Stevie, and I would play school in my garage with desks my Pepere brought home. I loved him dearly. My sincere sypathies to Aunt Claire, Uncle Donat, his children and family & friends.

Gosh were to start? Too much to say in such a little box. I love you, I miss you, I'm sorry, I'll never forget you, I can't believe your really gone. So many happy memories. For so long you were my rock, my protector, and most of all my best friend. You were so special to me, what more can I say? The pain is deep within my heart as I think of you each and every day. I love you... Until we meet again...

Uncle Steve you will be missed. We all love you deeply. My greatest memory is the PB&J's you used to make us three Haynes kids. You were the best sandwich maker even if it all came in one jar as you used to say! Love you always,
