Steven Edward Griffith

Steven Edward Griffith, 73, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on November 8, 2023. He was born on March 25, 1950, in Indianapolis. Steven was a great man and was loved by many people.

Steven is survived by his wife, Martha Griffith, and his twin brothers, Kenny and Keith Griffith. He is also survived by his sister, Vicki Buck, and his brother, Kenny Griffith. His nieces, Michelle Sellers Shadiow and Beth Sanders Griffith, and sister, Christine Prince, also mourn his loss.

Steven leaves behind his children, Stephanie Griffith, Mark Griffith and Suzie Griffith, Angela Griffith, Lora Quinlan, Shonna Caponegro and Leo Caponegro, and Donald Griffith. He was also a beloved grandfather to Alex Griffith, Jordan Griffith, Tyler Griffith, Travis Hancock, Devon Quinlan, Alexus Walls, Austin Rivers, Aubrianna Rivers, Scott Allen, Shaylee Smith, Kevin Allen, Nicholas Caponegro , Cody Griffith, Kayla Griffith, Kassidy Griffith, Cortney Griffith, and Kirin Tucker. Additionally, he had 26 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Griffith, his father, Edward Griffith, his sister, Diane Langley, his brother, Larry Griffith, his grandson, Ian Griffith, and his niece, Vicki Sellers.

Steven attended Manual High School for his education. He had a successful career at Bridgeport Brass and Olin Brass, and he was also the Steelworkers Union President for Local 1999.

Steven worshipped at the Church of The Firstborn in Morgantown, Indiana.
