I have known Steve our entire lives. One of the things I will always remember about Steve is that every time we talked on the phone, text, shared clips of videos or were together, he ALWAYS made me laugh!!!! I can´t tell you how much I´m going to miss that, at least I´ll have those memories.. And when our families combined, he not only was a friend, he became my brother!!
Love you to the moon and back. Til we meet again!!!

I will never forget a trip we took to Door County (Steve, Cindy, Darrell & I). It was the first time I was around Steve for an extended period of time. He made me laugh the entire weekend!

His love for Cindy was evident in all that he did. I will always remember Steve as a loving husband who showed kindness to all and had a laugh that was so infectious. He will be GREATLY missed!

I will always remember Steve´s smile and love for life. He could light up a room.

Some of my favorite memories are of going to my Auntie O and Uncle Steve´s house for dinner every week as a kid. My brother and I were always blown away by how strong he was as he would often have us put our arms out and lift us up or have us punch him in the stomach. I can now say he turned out to be even stronger than I thought him to be back then. He was such an amazing Uncle who taught me about the importance of laughter at a very young age; anyone who has met him knows that his laugh was the most contagious laugh you´d ever heard. I love my Uncle Steve and I miss him dearly.

Steve is our brother-in-law. There was an immediate connection when my husband and I first met him. We shared so many fun times with family and on some amazing trips together. He and Cindy shared an amazing relationship with each other but he was also there for us during their time together. Having grandchildren living in Naperville while living in Missouri was tough. Steve and Cindy stepped in as “ substitute grandparents,” something we will always be so greatful for. We will miss him terribly and think of him often.
