Just found out about Steve's passing from Facebook. I am saddened to hear the news. He was a great classmate and a good friend. I remember he could make a great throw from the outfield playing baseball...I think that it was his 'hop skip' that made the difference! Silly thought but a lasting memory for me.

I was driving to work the other day when a memmory of Steve came to mind and then a smile so i felt compelled to look Steve up and discovered he had passed. Shocked is an understatement. He will be missed dearly by those who new him and those he never touched. His smile and presence was infectious to say the least. I new Steve (Rat) as a brother at Stetson U. ATO for only a short time but his memmory will always be apart of me. You will be missed Steve.

Is is nice to see all the Love around Steve.
To Steve's Family,
I am the creator of. The Prayer Warrior Group on Facebook. We have been Praying for all of Steve's Family, and hoping that every day brings healing until only good memories remain.
Father, be with The Surratt Family as they continue to heal bit by bit and day to day. Make every day a better day for Steve's Family, and let Steve know his family on earth is healing in small amounts right now, but total heart restoration is needed. All bad memories must be purged, and Loving, Kind, Special feelings put in it's place.
In Jesus Christ We Pray,
AMEN

Tim Sanders A friend of mine from High School Passed. His name is Steve Surratt.
Join me in Prayer for Steven!
Father God, we lift up our Friend Steve Surrat's Family to you. Don't exactly know if he had a family or not, but be with all who loved Steve. Be in their hearts today, and let them know you have a need for Steve. That he is at your right hand Father, and I ask that you wrap his Familie in a hedge of love and protection. May his family gain strength through their his passing, and help them understand.
IF LOVE COULD HAVE SAVED STEVE, HE WOULD STILL BE WITH US.
TAKE CARE OF ALL INVOLVED FATHER, AND BLESS THEM IN THEIR TIME OF NEED!
In Christ's Name I Pray!
AMEN

So shocked to hear about the death of my high school sweetheart. Although I had not seen him since the 80's, I thought about him often. We attended Lake Brantley High School together and met at St. Stephen's youth group. I have many fond memories of him and his big yellow Delta 88.
