Steven H. Zeinfeld, age 80, beloved husband of Holly, nee Brown. Loving father of Erica (Ken ) Gallagher and Jeff (Sigalit ) Zeinfeld. Proud grandfather of Yahali Zeinfeld, Ayal Zeinfeld, Aliyah (Naftali) Gutman, Tehila Zeinfeld, Lehava Zeinfeld, Licol Zeinfeld, Zoey Gallagher, Neo Zeinfeld, Rory Gallagher, Finn Gallagher. Extremely proud great grandfather of Matar Gutman. Cherished brother of Paul (Clara) Zeinfeld, brother in law of Michael (Diane) Brown. Fond uncle to many dear nieces and nephews. Born in Chicago, IL July 27th, 1943 to Louis and Norma (Poole) Zeinfeld, Steven (aka Steve-o) along with brother and best friend Paul (aka Ski-bo), ran the best card games in town. He lived by his motto "Risk It!" and was a serial entrepreneur. He married his high school prom date (Holly) and together they laughed their way around the country living in over 20 homes in Illinois, California, Colorado, South Dakota, Jerusalem and Florida, and that's not counting their year in the RV! A charmer, a salesman, crooner, twister, bridge Silver Life Master, avid golfer, game player, devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend, mentor and so much more. He shared his wisdom and generosity with everyone he knew. He will be greatly missed. Steve passed peacefully in the night, at home on October 18th, 2023 at 12:15am. Graveside service Thursday, 2 PM at Menorah Gardens Cemetery, 2630 S. 17th Ave., Broadview, IL 60153.
