I was looking through my contacts and decided I needed to call Jim. It had been some time since we had spoken and I had a client looking with a great idea looking for advice. I googled Jim and saw this. He was a great guy who I worked with for many years at various companies. My condolences to you all. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Dear Kathy and Kody,
I just heard this weekend that Jim had passed and feel deeply saddened by his loss. He was a kindred spirit and a real prince among men. Every time I saw Jim he beamed with genuine warmth and generosity of spirit. He always spoke of his family and friends with love, admiration, and devotion. I admired and respected him. We loved Jimmy. Knowing him as a friend and second-father to our daughter Alli was an incredible gift to our family. Jim was uniquely kind and thoughtful, generous and compassionate to his loved ones. We were blessed to have known him and called him our friend. Our entre family was saddened with the passing of Jim.
I spoke to him a few short weeks ago about him coming to
florida to play golf with me. he was so looking forward to his visit and I was so looking forward to to him coming. Jim was so giving to my family particularly Johnny whom he helped with his college internship.
The last words that we had as we made golf dates was that he felt sorry that we hadn't spent as much time together as in the past. He told me he loved me and I told him I loved him. We had a very special relationship . I will miss him greatly .

I just learned of Jimmy's passing when I was leaving him a birthday message. I grew up with Jimmy and sat in front of him and his family at temple Israel for probably more than 18 Years. The last time I saw him was at our 40th SHS reunion.. I was so looking forward to seeing him again at our 50th next year?

The greatest time of my life was at Camp All America, and my roommate was James. He was the reason I moved to Scarsdale, and I owe the fond memories of my childhood to Jimmy! He was kind and generous and this grieves me to the bone. The world around us will suffer without his great smile and energy.We sang in a talent show together at camp, and I sing the song we sang often, and can't help but think of his unbelievable talents everytime.
If his children want to know of a song he wrote, I would be honored to send it to them. God bless him and all of his family.

Jim will be dearly missed by all the staff at Rye Golf Club. I know that no matter what the condition of the course, Jim never had a disparaging word to say. He brightened my days while at work and will be truely missed. The service was very moving and you could feel the love in the room for the man.

Dearest Kathy and Kody,
We are deeply saddened to hear of Jim's passing. Although we had not seen you in several years, we were always reminded of you through your beautiful Christmas cards. It was always wonderful to receive them.
Jim was a wonderful, bright, caring and likable person. Above all, both of you were his life and he was always there to love and protect you. It was obvious to all how much he loved both of you. He was well liked because he was always honest and true, and it was so easy to get to know him. We cannot tell you how shocked we were with this news. We're sure your hearts are broken and there are no real words of consolation. Kathy and Kody, we cannot imagine you both without Jimmy by your sides. He was such a source of strength to both of you. I know you are both strong women, but you must feel so lost without him.
If you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to call. At times like these, we need people to lean on and help us through. We are here for you always.

i was so sorry to hear about jimmy. our mothers were sisters. jimmy was one of my favorite cousins. we always enjoyed going to scarsdale to visit their lovely home. he gave me all his old 45's.he put the record player on his patio and a stack of records and that is when i first listened to rockin'roll. i will really miss him.
