Sue Ann Stromboe Raine, age 61, of Austin, passed away May 1, 2002. She was born September 1, 1940 in New Orleans, LA. Heaven became a more wonderful place this week, as our dear and much loved mother, grandmother, and friend went home to be with her Lord. She made everyone who knew her feel loved and special. If Sue was in your life, you were blessed. She was generous and loving and spread happiness wherever she went. Ms. Raine is survived by her loving daughters Deanne Breedlove (Shawn) and Robyn Raine; her grandchildren: Tomas, Shawn, and Nicola Migot as well as Ally, Ben, and Jake Breedlove; one brother, Frank Stromboe (Sharon); two sisters, Kay Shaw (Burton) and Gayle Stromboe; and a host of other loving relatives and friends including: Jimmy and Charline Haynes; Scott and Teri Reynolds and children, Lt. Colonel Jeff and Lori Haynes and their children. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 5, 2002 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Cook-Walden Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M., Monday, May 6, 2002 at First Evangelical Free Church, 4220 Monterey Oaks Blvd., with Reverend Rob Harrell officiating. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the: Raine Family Trust to benefit her grandchildren c/o SCIREX Corporation Attn: Human Resources, 801 W. 38th St. Suite 200, Austin, Texas, 78705.
