Summer Rachel Henderson Sears, 40, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018. She was born September 17, 1977 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, daughter of Rick and Lori (Thompson) Henderson. Summer was a volunteer at PAWS and she loved animals even fostering them. She organized a clothing exchange for the Dearborn County Women's Shelter and Cincinnati "Dress for Success". She worked as a salesperson at Med Mart. She is survived by her daughter, Bethany (husband Jedidiah) Henderson Kagy of Aurora, IN; parents, Rick and Lori Henderson of Aurora, IN; sister, Jessica Henderson McCallister of Monaca, PA; niece, Alyssa Russell,; 2 nephews, Corey Henderson, Devin McCallister; 10 aunts and uncles; 6 cousins and 4 great nieces and great nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dearborn County Women's Shelter or your local mental health organization.
