I had the great pleasure of learning from and working with Sung at Seattle Academy. She was the fearless leader of our 6th-grade team, and she was absolutely the best! Our meetings were always efficient and fun! And her laugh! Sung had an undeniable spark and passion for life. I have only lovely memories of her that I will hold onto. I send Jason, Emily, and the family my sincerest condolences. Sung was one of one. <3

I am so sad to hear about Sung´s passing. She was my student teacher at Snider High School. I remember her as a very talented, enthusiastic young lady. My students enjoyed their time with her and we all knew she would make a wonderful Latin teacher. Requiescat In Pace.

Sung became a recent friend through substitute teaching at Nova HS. She shared her deep enthusiasm for life, for friendship, for learning, for travel and all she cared about in the world. Her family and friends were always at the front of her mind and heart. She was a rare passionate, giving and joyful person who will be missed by many whose lives she touched.

We all loved your pie parties, karaoke skills, your haiku words, but most of all- we loved YOU.

Sung was a fellow PTA mom, a Maven and one of the people who helped create community in our K-5 cohort at BHIS. Our kids and their parents were happier and more successful because of Sung´s vivacious energy, kindness and because of the awesome parties she threw. I will never think of pies, karaoke or white elephant gift exchanges without thinking of Sung. When I make future travel plans I will be at a loss without the ability to call Sung for advice. She even managed to make my vacations better. This world will be quieter and less interesting without her, but she will remain loud, happy and ever-present in our memories.
