Susan Elizabeth Albano

Nashville, TN

Susan Albano passed from this world on Monday, December 2, 2013 after a short battle with cancer.

Born in Van Nuys, CA, Nashville became her home almost 20 years ago. Susan was Marketing Director for HealthSpring and for Health 123. Before her retirement, she worked in sales at HealthLeaders Interstudy.

Susan loved the beauty of nature and went to great efforts to surround herself with it, earning a Master Gardener Certificate during her time in California and a Horticulture Certificate at Nashville State Community College. Susan was passionate about her clients and landscape designs leaving a legacy behind of many beautiful gardens and flowerbeds.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Trigg and grandson, Evan Trigg, and numerous nieces and nephews. She spent her last days here on earth surrounded by the friends she loved. She lived her life with gentleness and kindness in an effort to create a better world for us all. Susan, a Ruling Elder of Second Presbyterian Church, is now in God's garden where her beauty, love of nature, family and friends will be graciously received.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Susan Albano Garden Fund at Second Presbyterian Church, 3511 Belmont Blvd., Nashville, TN 37215.

A celebration of her life will be held in January, 2014. Nashville Funeral and Cremation Service, (615) 256-1605.

Susan was a great mentor to me, she taught me about how to work with people and how to care for roses. I think of her when I see beautiful bloom on my rose bushes. She's happy and pain free, landscaping God's gardens.
