Susan Mary Alvino, aged 71, passed away on February 3, 2025, in Beverly, Massachusetts. Born on August 14, 1953, in Lynn, Massachusetts, Susan was a cherished presence in the lives of her family and friends, known for her unwavering friendship, humor, and kindness.

Susan had a lifelong passion for the beach and the creative arts, which was evident in her joyful expression and the beauty she brought into the world. She had a special connection with animals and a profound ability to engage with children, but above all, her greatest joy was being a devoted grandmother.

She is survived by her life partner of 20 years, Anthony DeLorenzo of Ipswich, MA; her brother, James Ouellette of Hamilton, MA; her children, TJ Alvino and his wife Kristi Alvino of Westerly, Rhode Island, and Michelle L'Italien and her husband Peter L'Italien of Danvers, MA. Her grandchildren, Molly, Brent, Jack, and Cole, will hold dear the loving memories of their grandmother.

A Funeral Mass will be held in her honor on Friday, February 21, 2025, 11:00am at St. Johns, located at 17 Chestnut St, Peabody, MA 01960. A reception will follow where family and friends can continue to celebrate Susan's remarkable life. Her Kindness, laughter and love will be missed but never forgotten.

Susan was one of the nicest people and finest example of a human being I have ever known. She made life seem so easy even though she spent many years fighting for her survival.
I feel fortunate to have spent nearly 25 years of my life with her. She brought joy, compassion and comfort with her wherever she went. I was one of the lucky recipients of her love and kindness. In fact, I have become a better man for having known her.
There is a hole in my world that she filled with her love. I miss her all day long and will remember her fondly for the remainder of my days.
I love you Susan.
