SUSAN BIVONA Obituary
Age 63, of Pittsburgh, on Monday, March 26, 2018. Beloved sister of Diane (Bruce) Bivona Loeffler, the late John Bivona, the late Michele Bivona Gossett and the late Carolyn Bivona Waldron; aunt of Nicole (Thomas Bizzarro) Martitsch-Kreiner and Natalie Gossett; great-aunt of Mason Bizzarro. Susan will be missed by her aunt, Faye Bivona Ballacciach; and numerous cousins and friends. Family and friends welcome Saturday 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE (412-563-2800), 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. 15220. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Monday in S.S. Simon and Jude Church.

Dear Susan was such a faithful friend to me over the years. No matter what she was going through she always wanted to lighten MY load with her prayers, laughter, and love for "Miss Jude." I've learned so much from Susan about how to suffer well, with courage, grace, and trust. My two Steubenville roomies are now dancing with the Lord.

I have known Susan since 1998 when we starting working together at Heinz. I was her manager, but we were so much more to each other. She was my friend. We had so many conversations and saw each other through many difficult times. Susan was a wonderful person. Kind, loving and very generous. Goodbye my dear friend, you will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to Sue's family and friends. She was a friend for many years always had time to listen to offer great advice, my own personal counselor. I'm so grateful for the time we were able to share over the past several years and the trips we took together especially our beach trips , our happy place. She was the strongest person I've ever known. Never complained fought with everything in her up to her last breath. She never gave up. I will miss her friendship and witty charm every day. My dear Susan we should be sipping coffee and talking on the phone right now. How am I going to solve the workd's problems without you? I love you like a sister! To your family and friends my heart aches. ZI'm content knowing the physical suffering is over for Susan. She faced her cancer with courage and grace. She never felt sorry for herself or asked Why me? Although small in stature she could stand up to anyone. Together we were New York Girls! Susan, I'm proud that you were my friend!
