COLUMBIA — Susan Shaw Farmer, 56, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017. Born December 6, 1960 in Charleston, she was raised in Columbia and attended Spring Valley High School, and later graduated from the University of South Carolina.
She was the loving daughter of the late Harry Eugene Shaw and the late Virginia Sacher Shaw.
Susan was preceded in death by her husband, John Larry Farmer, Jr., and her brother, David Brian Shaw.
Susan is survived by her uncle, Robert Bruce Shaw; niece, Brittany Shaw; cousins, Alice Palmer Shaw Ulmen, Robert Bruce Shaw Jr., and Ashley Carter Shaw Anderson.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, 4219 Hard Scrabble Road, Columbia, SC 29223.
