Susan Friberg Obituary
Susan (Sue) Friberg, 71, of Fontana, CA, passed away on April 8, 2017 in Fontana.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fontana Community Church, 8316 Sierra Ave., Fontana, CA.
Sue was born in Kewanna, Indiana to Ronald and Corlista Smith on May 3, 1946. At the age of 19, she married the man of her dreams, Dan Friberg on January 29, 1966. They resided in California, making Fontana their cherished home for over 50 years. In 1969, they became the proud parents of their daughter, Cheryl, who in turn gave them three beautiful grandchildren, Kenyatta, Kristia and Mandela.
Sue was an incredible woman of dignity, honor and love. She loved everyone unconditionally with her whole heart and blessed their lives in ways unimaginable. She will be missed by her family and friends, but her spirit will continue to guide the many lives she has touched until it is time to meet once again.
Sue is preceded in death by her mother and father, Ronald and Corlista Smith.
Sue is survived by her husband, Dan; her daughter Cheryl; her sister Marilyn; her brother Steve; granddaughter, Kristia; grandsons Kenyatta and Mandela; and, many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
