Susan Marie Frickey

Susan Marie Frickey, aged 59, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2024, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Born on September 9, 1964, in Columbia, Mississippi, Susan was a cherished figure among her family and friends.

Susan was known for her private nature, dedicating much of her life to her children and grandchildren. Her passions included gardening, goats, solving crossword puzzles, and keeping up with celebrity gossip. Her love and dedication to her family were evident in every aspect of her life.

She is survived by her children, Sandy Granier, Shauna Buffinet (Jessie Buffinet), Shaun Granier Jr. (Jessica Granier), and Corey Granier (Lizzie McNabb); and her grandchildren, Arianna Buffinet, Logan Buffinet, Jersey Ancalade, Makenzie Granier, Shaun Granier III, and Paisley Granier. She also leaves behind her sisters, Annie Ball, Barbara Chisolm, and Karen Tabacco. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Frickey (Lawson); brothers, George Frickey Jr., Johnny Frickey, and Christopher Frickey; sister, Judy Atwood; another sister, Eloise Frickey; her husband, Shawn Granier; and grandson, Christian Buffinet.

In accordance with her wishes, Susan's life will be celebrated in a private gathering organized by her children, instead of traditional funeral services. This intimate celebration will honor her life and the profound impact she had on those around her. Susan's memory will be cherished and preserved within the hearts of her family and friends.
