Susan Monroe Gwartney, 68, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on March 19, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital after a brief illness. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Thomas Monroe, and brother, Mike Monroe.

Susan is survived by her loving family: daughters, Melody Futch (Robert) of Ellabell and Melissa Grizzard (Shane) of Savannah; grandchildren, Melaina Warren (Chelsea), Jason Futch (Alyssa), Lacy Tootle (Ben), and Autumn Grizzard; great children, AJ Miller, Hadley Tootle and River Tootle; sister, Gayla Reffner (Joey) of Pembroke; She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

A private memorial service is planned to honor Susan's life.
