Happy Birthday my sweet Mother. You never let me down.
I look forward to seeing you again in Heaven. You can play the piano and we can all stand around singing Christmas carols, talk and laugh, and thank God for blessing us to be together forever.

Love always,
Donna

My grandmother Susan McFarland Haggard was a very loving woman. She loved her family and church. She enjoyed helping others and taught her family to help others as well. My grandmother enjoyed making people happy and designing gift baskets for family and friends. She enjoyed singing in her church choir and going to events at Bass Hall. My grandmother enjoyed art and magazines. She also loved hosting parties at her home and at Colonial Country Club. I grew up with her and she taught me to be like her. My grandmother always stayed in fashion. My grandmother loved birds and and animals. I'll always remember Susan McFarland Haggard for being a strong Christan woman.

Love, Heather Olivia Shannon -Granddaughter

My name is Michelle McMullan, Ms. MacFarland was my 5th grade Math teacher in the 80s at TL Marsalis Elementaryschool in Dallas TX. She cared about us and was so sweet to me as a student. She also corrected my grammer, if I started a sentence incorrectly:) She did not humiliate us when we did not get certain Math concepts fast enough like other students were. I am almost 46 now and still remember her. Sorry to hear about her loss. She was really a blessing to the community. God bless all her family and friends and all that knew her.
