Kevin and sons,
Oh, my, was so sorry to hear today of Sue's passing, and apologies for not paying my respects in person. Sue was so helpful to me as a copywriter and then with my own company, and even after. She never let you down. Lifted up every idea. And her work will be around for years. She was unforgettable. A great loss to so many people who loved and admired her.

Thanks to everyone who has left a message here, attended Sue's Memorial Mass or who simply knew Sue. She was a wonderful wife, incredible mother and a great friend to so many people. I was so completely happy with the Mass, its music, Msgr Gaston's homily and the eulogies, especially those of our sons. Such a marvelous send off for my wife.
Sue touched a great many lives and that was evident in the huge turnout. It was a tremendous celebration of Sue's amazing life. Your outpouring of love and friendship will be forever cherished by our immediate family and the whole Hartford family forever. Thank you all so very much.

Dear Kevin, Matt, Christian, extended family and friends,
Yesterday's service for Sue was touching and lovely, just like her. I first began working with her when she was fresh out of school and eager to learn. Since then our friendship and careers have been closely intertwined. Sue was well-trained in composition, both through her education (Magna Cum Laude!) and by her musical mentor, Jimmy Drake. Plus she was so damn nice, fun, respectful, and easy to work with... Through all these years I'm proud to say that we remained fast friends and production consultants with each other. I've only seen her a few times in the last several years I suspect because she wanted to keep her health struggle to herself but we always promised to have dinner together with Nancy & Kevin. I missed, and miss, that opportunity. In my shock, I thought that her passing hadn't hit me yet, but after the meaningful service and telling Suestories with dozens of old friends, clients and former employers that were there, I awoke this morning with a deep hole in my life. I know she'll continue to look after you, her boys. Farewell my strong, stately, smart and beautiful compatriot. I'll be seeing you around.

Kevin,
What a pleasure it was to meet you and Sue at Mike's daughter's wedding my sister (Amy, Neil's wife) and I attended. I sat at end of table with you and Sue. Sue and I had great conversation and it was nice laughing with you two and riding in the car with her back to the hotel in the snow, her and I singing in the back seat. It saddened me to hear of her passing. Stay strong and may her spirit live on in your heart forever. Prayers to you and your children to find peace.

Dear Kevin and family,
I am so sorry and sad to hear of Sue's passing. I wish I had known her more than just to say hello to in passing in the neighborhood. She was quite an accomplished and beautiful woman. I hope you find some comfort in knowing that she no longer has to suffer. Again, you have our deepest sympathy and our prayers.

What an absolute honor to be Sue's hairstylist from before her wedding day to just a few weeks ago in her lovely home. Such a true classic , lovely woman , an admirable mother and wife and family person. She told me she had a good life and she is the perfect example of what a good life is. How fortunate anyone was to experience her. I will miss you Sue so very much. Things won't be the same not seeing you every 6 to 8 weeks . Your genuine smile and laughter and sweet , sweet personality along with being such a good listener will always be remembered and greatly appreciated !!! Dear Kevin, Matt and Christian , bless each and everyone of you and may the beauty of her soul live forever in your hearts .
