Susan HIBBERT Obituary
December 13, 1970 - August 22, 2012
It is with great sorrow that we announce that Susan Hibbert left us suddenly to be with her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Susan will be profoundly missed by her husband Dan; their children, Liam, Dean, Luke, Cole and Rose; her parents Robert and Ruth White; sisters Carol Cowie and Hazel Marshall; as well as numerous friends and relatives. Susan moved to Calgary from Northern Ireland to marry Dan in 1993. She was a wonderful wife and mother, a talented artist and musician, and full of wit and charm. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and was characterized by her compassionate care for others. A Funeral Service will be held at Eden Brook Funeral Home (Intersection of 17th Avenue SW and Lower Springbank Rd), on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. A viewing will be held prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, tributes in Susan's memory may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, (Alberta/NWT Division, 200, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5, Tel: (403) 205-3966, www.cancer.ca.) We are praying for you Dan, your children & both yours & susan's extended families. We are especially praying for you as a greiving husband & father today, as you go through such a sorrowful day following such a sad & difficult week, we are also especially praying for your dear children through it all. We are asking God to give you His strength as you go through this day, we know that our Lord Jesus is close to you & we pray that you will feel a profound sense of His love & comfort today & in the weeks & months to come.
