As years pass and people enter our lives there are only a few who leave a lasting impression. Susan Houle is one of those people. Always positive, champion of not only her own children's causes but those in her classroom and her community. She never missed the opportunity to showcase every child's uniqueness and make them feel they were special.
Susan was very proud of her family and expressed her love for Rolly and her children every time we spoke.
She was truly compassionate for those less fortunate and always tried to find a silver lining as she faced life's obstacles with dignity and bravery.
We will miss your warm smile and contagious laughter, your soft, soothing voice and twinkling eyes. We will miss your visits at our fence as you motored through the park on sunny days.
We will miss you friend.

Rolly, Brock Teagan, and Teneille;
Susan was one of those rare and special people that come along in your life. I had the privilege of working with her for the last 12 years with Victim Services. Her compassion and caring for others was always her priority. As was her style though, Susan didn't just show up to do a job, she became a friend to all, and there was always a whirlwind of activity wherever she went. It didn't matter if it was book club, "road trips" to Regina, or opening her home to Victim Services for her fabulous Christmas parties, Susan was always generous with her time and her friendship.
Susan, you will be truly missed.

Rolly, Brock, Teagan and Tenille; Our greatest sympathies for the loss of your wife and mother. I am going to miss my beautiful, strong, willful, energetic, and giving friend. I hope God sees fit to have a very special place in heaven for her. She taught me that the only way to live life....is to LIVE! Live, everyday with verve, humour and patience. Her energy was breathtaking and inspiring.

Rolly, Brock, Teagan & Tenille;
We are sincerely sorry for your loss and wish ALL OF YOU strength and courage through the years ahead. We enjoyed our time on Brunst Crescent - the block party (horses and all) in 1989, co-op babysitting, coffee group, floor hockey and so many other activities brought many happy memories to our lives. Sue's leadership and support in getting these activities going is treasured.

Both Peter and I graduated from Kelsey Institute's Rec program with Sue. We remember her great energy, electric smile and the very cold night at winter camp when she broke out the perogies and cheered us all up. Sending our sincere sympathy to Sue's family and friends. She was a great spirit.
