MOUNTAIN TOP — Susan "Suzy" M. Kaminski was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister and friend. Surrounded by loved ones at her home in Mountain Top, she left this life on Jan. 3, 2021, at the age of 74, after a progressive decline in health took an unexpected turn.
She was born to Alvin and Faye Iskow on Feb. 16, 1946, in Highland Park, Mich. Suzy married Karl K. Kaminski, the one and only love of her life and together they had two children, Karla and Karl II.
Suzy was an entrepreneur who founded and owned hair salons, a gourmet dog treat bakery and authored a children's book. She was a graduate of Luzerne County Community College and won distinguished business awards throughout her career. Suzy loved to bake, craft and give to her community. She will be remembered for her beautiful handmade greeting cards, elaborately decorated cakes, delicious loaves of bread and love of animals. May her memory be a blessing.
McCune Funeral Service Inc., has been entrusted with her care. A memorial service will be held in the future to celebrate her life.

Suzy definitely left her legacy. I personally know of her faith and dedication to everyone especially God's animals. I still use her dog treat container every Christmas and had just put it away the day her friend email me of her passing. Knowing Suzy, she is in heaven. Her role is at Rainbow Bridge welcoming all the pets into heaven. Rainbow Bridge is known as the Pearly Gates for Pets. Yes Suzy is the St Peter of Rainbow Bridge. Suzy will definitely be missed, however, she left her MARK!!!!

As a young girl living in the neighborhood of Sue's beauty salon, I remember Sue as a generous, caring and talented woman. She treated all her clients as family and I felt as thou she was family as well. At the age of 15, she entrusted me with the keys to her shop to sweep up the hair and earn a couple bucks after she closed for the day. She entered a many stylist competitions. In Hershey, PA. she took first place as a colorist. Thank you for all you did. She will be missed many. Bonnie
