Susan´s stone was finally installed and wanted to share for all. Her cremains are buried with those of her parents at the Columbia City Cemetery under a gorgeous tree. The Army symbol on the back was for her parents who were both Captains in the Army - and how they met. The Stevie Nicks quote was of course for Susan. RIP Susan.

Rest in peace, Susan. I'll always remember showing my Bombay, Naia, in Premiership with you and your ebony Oriental.

Although we were both from Columbia we didn´t meet until college and I´m so thankful we did. We had so much fun and created so many memories that I have carried in my heart all these years. May you rest in peace my friend.

Susan would come and see us at the restaurant regularly, after talking to her and getting to know her her huge heart was apparent. I loved our conversations about our four legged pet friends, cars(Teslas) and chiefs games! Susan was a very kind human being and I will forever miss her and conversations, rest in peace my friend and I´ll see you again someday

I will forever have fond memories of times we spent at Barnes and Nobles sipping ice tea and looking through stocks of books and magazines. I loved how we were so different in our choices, but every once in a while our hands would stretch to the others pile and slide a book or magazine to our side to look. I cant imagine you not here even though it's been years. May you rest in peace.

Susan will be greatly missed! She was more than a friend to the Dude's/Lammy's, she was family. I have so many memories of her at our kitchen table with my grandparents and parents talking politics over dinner. May she rest in peace.

Thank you, Susan, for being my best friend since 1st grade. Not too many people have friendships over 57 years! Our memories together will forever be etched in my heart. You were such an amazing friend, and I will miss you forever until we meet again. You and your parents were such wonderful friends to my family. I still find myself reaching for my phone to call you. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Found these photos on Susan's phone. I THINK I recognize a few others but can't say for sure. If you know the setting or other folks in the picture, please speak up!
