Susan Lee Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 18, 2012.
Susan Lee, beloved mother, sister and daughter, born November 28, 1971, in Seoul, South Korea, died on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Anaheim Regional Medical Center. Susan came to the United States in 1980 at age 9 and made a wonderful life in the Los Angeles Area and Atlanta. In the last few days of a two-year fight with cancer, she was able to share her love, commitment and dignity with her family and close friends who were able to visit her.

Susan was the wonderful mother of two daughters, Kayla Kim, age 11, and Chloe Kim, age 5. She graduated from Fashion Institute Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles and was able to pursue a very successful career as a production manager in the fashion industry in the Los Angeles area. She notably interned with Richard Tyler, worked for Assoluto, Inc. and was employed with Miken Clothing Co. most recently. She was a dedicated deacon of the Grace Korean Church in Fullerton, California.

In addition to Kayla and Chloe, Susan is survived by her father, Eric Lee, her step-mother, Haingja Lee, her step-father, Young Ho Joo, her sister, Sheila Lee, her step-sister, Maylynn Wilson and two step-brothers, Jonathan Joo and Michael Joo. Her extended family includes a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Gifts for the support of Kayla and Chloe should be made to the Susan Lee Revocable Trust.
