Susan Lindler

Susan Mann Lindler, 77, passed away on December 4th 2024 at home. She was the wife of Lonnie Calvin Lindler Jr. They shared 58 years of marriage together. She was the daughter of the late Carl Clifton (Red) Mann and Jeanne Bennett Mann Turner and the sister to the late Clifton Kinard Mann. She attended Columbia High School where she graduated and got married. She was a teachers aid at Mt. Horeb Preschool and then went on to become a teachers assistant at Chapin Elementary School for twenty plus years before retiring and taking care of her grandchildren. She belonged to Chapin Methodist Church (now Chapin Christian Community Church) for 20 plus years. She enjoyed working in her yard, cooking for family and friends, taking care of her family and watching her Lady Gamecocks basketball team. Her most treasured time was spent with her many grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Carl Mann Lindler and Pamela Harrell (Trey), niece, Ashley Boling (Kullen), sister-in-law, Sandra Mann (Tommy). She was "Ma" to her many grandchildren, Hannah Lindler (the late Michael Mann Lindler), Shelby Minges (Drew), Belle Harrell, Saylor Harrell, Hampton Boling, Tillman Boling, Camden Boling and great grandson, Levi Minges. An interment ceremony will be held at Chapin Christian Community Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Susan would prefer a donation be made in her memory to Chapin Christian Community Church.
