Susan Moore Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Oct. 5 to Oct. 6, 2017.
Susan Sanders Moore, age 73, went to be with our Lord on Oct. 3, 2017. There's not enough words to describe who Susan was as a person. She had the power to change the presence and atmosphere when she entered the room. She loved God first, truly loved her family and wonderful friends, and had an enormous heart for others. She knew the importance of the Father"s love and freely gifted this love to everyone with an open invitation to begin or grow their personal relationship with Jesus. We have enormous shoes to fill to boldly continue to do the same. In addition to her religious works, she had an adventurous spirit, was an avid tennis player, snow and water skier, a beautiful composer, vocalist and pianist. She also was the holder of a motorcycle license. She is survived by her loving husband Ronald Joe Moore, Sr., her children Chuck Sanders (Jane), Ginger Sanders Reid (Chris), Jill Sanders Colgate (David), her grandchildren Kari Hahn (Harold), Trey Sanders, Cassy Flowers, Haley Butler ( Kevin), Lexie Colgate and Lizzi Colgate, her great grandchildren Bryson and Jaxon Butler, Hayden and Hendrix Hahn, a brother Stanley Lawler, her new family, stepson Ronald J, Moore, Jr. (Kaye), Joey's daughter Rebecca Moore Swann (Ryan) and their children Skyler and Harper, several nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. We take comfort in knowing that she has gone home to be with the Lord and her other family members. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The Gideon's or Vive Church.org. Services will be held Saturday Oct. 7, at 12:00 at The Healing Place in Trussville with a visitation 2 hours prior to the service. Burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.

Jim and I are so saddened to hear of Susan'passing. To Ron, Chuck, Ginger, and Jill. I spoke with your wife, and mom several weeks ago. We laughed, spoke of our kids, made plans to visit, spoke of the Lord, Grace Bible Church. Great memories. She said,
"Come quickly Lord Jesus"

Laura and I were so saddened to learn of Susan's passing. She was at one time our next door neighbor and was a very gracious lady. We were always invited to join her family on Christmas Eve each year and we were always treated like family.

To Chuck, Ginger, Jill, all family members and other friends, we extend our most sincere condolences.

What a wonderful tribute to such a precious person as Susan. Have been friends many years and her sweet spirit will be in my heart forever. Susan loved Jesus above all and I am sure she is resting in his arms and seeing him face to face.

Your hope is found in knowing you will see she and Charlie both in heaven. She would want you to stand tall and trust JESUS.
