Susan Oyerbides Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Nov. 29 to Nov. 30, 2023.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan M. Oyerbides (nee Peplinski) of Milwaukee, WI. Susan was born into eternal life on November 23rd, 2023, at the age of 56. Susan took her last breath in peace, embraced by her loving and devoted family.

Susan was a much-loved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Susan had a green thumb and was an avid gardener, who took great joy in caring for her flowers and plants. She had a larger-than-life sense of humor, and nothing was ever too goofy for her to do, to make her family laugh. Susan was naturally artistic and created many amazing pieces of artwork throughout her years. She always made holidays special for her family and loved decorating for Halloween and Christmas. Susan was a fantastic cook and baker; she had many dishes and desserts that became comfort food to her family. She was always the cool mom and grandma who loved grunge-era bands of the 90's, wearing Vans and concert tees, most importantly she lived life to the fullest on her own terms.

Susan is the beloved wife and eternal soulmate to Rodolfo (Rudy) Oyerbides Jr., who were high school sweethearts (Waukesha South HS) who shared over 40 years of love and laughter together. One of Susan's greatest joys in life was being a mom, and she was born to hold the title. She will always be the adoring and selfless mother to Jessica, and Rodolfo (Rudy). Susan was a devoted (also coolest) grandma to Elias Senethavisouk, with whom he had her wrapped around his little finger the moment she laid eyes upon him.

Susan is preceded in death by her father Joseph Peplinski Sr., and is the cherished daughter of Eileen Peplinski, Toni White and the late Bruce White, as well as the big-sister to Joseph Peplinski Jr. Susan also treasured her sister-in-law's Margaret, Judy, and Joann, and was a much-adored aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Susan also treasured her friendship with Lisa S., with whom she shared her love of dogs with. Not to worry, she will take care of Lucy and Bernice! Susan's infectious laughter and kind heart will be remembered and missed by many.

Susan was a lover of all animals, especially her fur baby Samantha, as well as Lily and Reggie who are eagerly awaiting her arrival at the rainbow bridge with puppy smiles and wagging tails.

Susan was an amazingly strong, and brave woman who fought fearlessly until the end. Susan's family would like to give an immense and heartfelt thank you to Dr. Brennan for her kindness, compassion, support, and hope you gave us both. Thank you also to Dr. Cho, Dr. Franco, Dr. Ley, Dr. Patel, Dr. Seymour, Father Arturo Ysmael, and all the compassionate nurses, CNAs, dialysis and respiratory technicians on floors 6NT, 7NT, and 8NT at Froedtert Hospital.

Mom, there is now an immeasurable void in our hearts, filled with sorrow. It hurts a little less knowing we will all be together again someday. We will miss you constantly until we meet again. We love you forever and always xoxo - Jess, Lil Rudy, & Dad.

No funeral services will be held. A celebration of life for immediate family and friends will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Susan's name to the Friends of MADACC (https://madacc.org/donate/) or to the Wisconsin Humane Society (https://www.wihumane.org/donate/memorials-honorary-gifts)

We are so very sorry to hear about the loss of your wife, daughter and mother. I met Sue briefly through Eileen and my husband worked in the past with Rudy at Coach USA. What a shock!
Our thoughts are with you all during this difficult time. May God hold her memories closer to your heart until you meet again someday.
With sympathy,
Sherry & Jerry Olson

Oh my SusieQ, how I miss you!! We started off as neighbors and became friends. We laughed, cried, vented, and watched over our Guardians of the Yard. We always knew we could count on each other! You were always up for the next adventure to be had. My friends became your friends. I will forever miss our backyard talks and visits. Rest peacefully my friend.

Sue always tried to please everyone. QShe never forgot to send a card or get a gift on my birthday, Mother“s Day, or any holiday and always wrote something inside that would bring tears to my eyes. I was so proud of her and so grateful to have her in my life. She is always in my heart.
