SUSAN PORTER Obituary
Age 43 of Waynesburg, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018. She was born in Canton, a daughter of Martha (Snyder) Porter, of Waynesburg, and the late Philip Porter, and was a life resident of Waynesburg. Susan was a 1993 graduate of Sandy Valley High School and was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.
Surviving besides her mother is a brother, Matthew Porter, of Waynesburg; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sat. from 11:30 a.m.-12:00 Noon in Centenary United Methodist Church with Pastor Linda Slutz officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to the Celebration. The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be sent to:

I went to school with Susan at Sandy Valley and was in her graduating class. We were in Girl Scouts together also. I remember her always laughing and how Valerie Swiney and her were the best of friends. She was always so nice to people and had a kind heart. Sad to hear this. I'm so sorry for her loss. Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday. Unknown. Susan is now a beautiful star in the sky. All our love, thoughts and prayers to you Martha, and Matthew. You are all on my mind and in my heart during this difficult time.
