Susan E (Tilton, Jordan) Poulin - 9/28/1955 - 8/25/2025

Susan Ella Poulin, born on September 28, 1955, to Sumner and Margaret Tilton, in Concord NH, passed away on August 25, 2025 at home in Pembroke, NH.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Poulin of nearly 45 years, daughter Amy Farnum and husband Doug, sisters Barbara Avery and Ila Rivet, mother-in-law Rita Poulin, sisters in law Pam Downing and Sharon Bussiere and husband John, and numerous nieces nephews and cousins.

Sue was the son that Sumner never had, growing up on Tilton Farm on Clinton Street in Concord, NH. Sue loved the barn and all of the animals within, especially the horses. She was fortunate to have 2 horses as an adult, Lana and Blue Boys Bonanza. As a child she could be found traveling with her father as he picked up and delivered farm animals and equipment to the local farmers throughout New England.

Sue was creative and artistic, dabbling in writing, photography, painting, poetry and genealogy.

She filled many important administrative roles at several local businesses, Blue Cross, NH Hospital Association, NH Realtors Association, Granite VNA to name a few.

Sue loved camping, vanning, boating and supporting Bill in his musical endeavors.

She will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to cancer support agencies.

There will be a celebration of life on her birthday, September 28.

Here's a rewritten version:

Bill, I'm still reeling from the news about Sue. She seemed like such a lovely person - warm, welcoming, and easy to chat with. I had such a great time at the party you both hosted at your place when we worked together for the State of NH. Sue made everyone feel at home, and I loved how she showcased your musical side with all the guitar photos. Sending you my deepest condolences and a big hug, Diane.

Sue (and Bill) were the first people we met when we decided to boat on Winnipesaukee. They graciously introduced us to their boating friends and made us part of their clan at the lake. We are eternally grateful for her generosity and witty personality. Together we could find humor in the simplest little things. She had an amazing smile and an infectious laugh. It must be true that God only takes the good ones. RIP Sue, you were one of a kind .
