Sandy Jentoft(Poppenberg)
December 11, 2002
I am so sad to hear about Sue's death. I visited with her at our last class reunion. Throughout her life, she was a kind and considerate person.I can't remember Sue ever saying an unkind word about anyone. The good die young. My heartfelt sympathy to Tom and her whole family. May God give you strength and peace.
Sincerely,
Sandy Poppenberg

I had the pleasure of meeting Susie when she lived in Dallas. I have very fond memories of spending time with her during the warm summer days and enjoying hours of conversation. She was a beautiful person in every way--her smile was most memorable. She had an amazing outlook on life and just would not let anything take away her smile. She always managed to cheer me up. I am sure she will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

In the fall of 1990, I had the great fortune to meet Suzi in Dallas. We became very close friends. Over the years we shared the greatest times together, even if we could only visit by phone. She instantly lifted my spirits when I was down. We could chat for hours and laugh about most anything even during the toughest times. I remember how happy she was when she met Tom at her high school reunion and they fell in love. Her eyes sparkled when she spoke of him and her family and many friends. Suzi was joy and sunshine and the most thoughtful person I ever met. I will cherish the memory of my time with my sweet friend, I called Miss Minnesota, and miss her terribly.

I remember times when I'd be asked to take up to Sue some files; what I noticed was a cheerful, warm greeting. I'm so sorry I was not aware of her cancer. My sympathy to her family at this time.
