Sue Waldman was so important to my children during their time at Oak Ridge. During IEP meetings, she would LISTEN and add invaluable observations. This was especially appreciated because, unlike the other staff present, she was the only one who had worked with them since they were small and could see a more complete picture. She was a treasure...we will miss her.

We will certainly miss you Sue. Her dedication to the students was amazing. I remember when she began servicing my daugther for speech services, even before the IEP was finalized. She has done an amazing job with my daughter and we will truly miss her.

Sue was a very good friend to me when I first moved to the Cape and didn't know many people. Her friendly and genuine smile were a welcome sight to greet me every day. What I will always remember about Sue was that she took the time to talk and listen even when she was really very busy. And she was always right! We miss you already, Sue.

Sue taught me what courage means. I never once heard her complain as the illness progressed. She continued to share smiles with her students and colleagues each day. The lives she touched as a teacher and a friend are too numerous to calculate. I will miss her every day...

I'm very sorry to hear of Sue's passing. I will always remember her for her courageous battle with cancer, her passion for her job and her love for the students that she worked with. She will be greatly missed by her colleagues and of course "her kids". Rest in Peace Sue!
