Susan Lynn Zocco, 67 of Highland Township, Michigan passed away peacefully with hospice care, in the home of her beloved significant other Michael J. Howard and family Shar Pei pets Sophie and Muggs, on Thursday January 9, 2025. Susan will be forever remembered by her cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Susan is survived by her brother Carl Allen. Susan was predeceased by her Sister Sharon Barbara (nee Allen) Kronk and Brothers Dennis Allen and Mark Allen and by her parents Margaret and Carl Allen. Susan made friends wherever she went. Those who loved her will never forget how tough she was in the face of chronic long term illness.

Susan's love of life, interest in others and outsize personality will never be forgotten. As a successful businesswoman, Susan founded and eventually sold her maid service company and invested in her lifelong passion, Everdream Farm, Specializing in breeding Llamas, Miniature Horses, and Miniature Donkeys.

Susan's farm grew to become one of the largest Miniature Horse farms in the United States. Susan rescued animals of many types and provided homes and/or shelter for them on their Farm. Susan also developed a successful travel service business arranging many national and international business trips and vacations for her clients. Lastly, Susan was employed as a Nurse Aide/Care Partner Specialist by Colombiere Center in Clarkston, providing healthcare for retired Jesuit priests and brothers from the Midwest Province. Working with her team at Colombiere proved a rewarding position she truly loved.

Per Susan's wishes no memorial service will be held. Susan directed her ashes scattered over her favorite horse "Magic". Susan's beloved Friesen Stallion, whom she loved and cared for over "Magic's" 18 year Lifespan. Pursuant to her wishes, Susan's ashes will be spread at a private family scattering ceremony soon.

Susan was a lifelong lover of animals; memorial donations may be made in her name to the Humane Society of the United States. (www.humanesociety.org).
