Suzanne LaCour Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 21, 2024.
Suzanne M. Titzer LaCour, 90, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, joined our Lord on January 14, 2024. She was born in Evansville, Indiana, on August 10, 1933, to Raymond P. Titzer and Lavina L. Engel Titzer.

She is a 1951 graduate of the Academy of Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand, Indiana.

She met the love of her life, Jack L. LaCour, at a dance in her teens. After his graduation from Pilot Training in 1954, she was honored to become Queen of his cadet class. Suzanne and Jack were married 3 days later. Their romance continued throughout their 69 year marriage. They were a dynamic duo who could figure out and accomplish anything together.

She was a dedicated devoted mother to her four children. Her love was unending, selfless and powerful. She was a gentle being and always a lady. She spoke properly and with kindness. She was sharp minded and enterprising, and some would say feisty.

She enjoyed gardening and anything that allowed her to be outdoors. She was highly energetic, thought mouse jokes were funny, and had a silly sense of humor.

Suzanne developed a flourishing hobby of building large doll houses. She loved boating, water skiing and motorcycle riding.

Suzanne is preceded in death by the love of her life, Jack L. LaCour, her parents, one sister and one brother.

Suzanne leaves behind to cherish her memory 4 children: Dr. Victor C. LaCour and wife, Debi; Christi A. LaCour; Jeffrey A. LaCour and his wife, Hallie; Cathy E. LaCour Moore, eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
