Suzanne Richardson MacAaron

Suzanne Richardson MacAaron of New York City, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023, surrounded by her loving children. She was the beloved daughter of Barton Frank Richardson and Effie Dewey Jones Richardson, and was married to the late actor James MacAaron for more than 35 years. She is survived by her daughter Francesca; her son David and his wife Joanna Spencer; her daughter Alexandra and her husband James Delande; and the grandchildren she treasured, Kris and Maddie. Suzanne was born in Missouri in 1931, and attended Southwest Missouri State University, before studying in Germany and Italy as a Fulbright Scholar. In New York, Suzanne began her career as a classical singer with renowned light opera company The Savoyards. Later, she worked with a variety of theatrical organizations, including the Catholic Actors Guild. The essence of beauty, elegance, and style, she will be missed by all who knew her.
