**Obituary**

Margaret "Suzi" Suzanne Sturdevant, 82, passed away on April 21, 2024, in Salisbury, Maryland. She was born on January 1, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Suzi was known for being the life of the party, with a kind and humorous personality that endeared her to everyone around her. She cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Suzi's hobbies included planting flowers, shopping at Marshall's, and especially watching reality TV shows.

Suzi spent a good part of her life working at Martin Seafood, a family business. She loved working with her cousins and everyone else there, as much as they loved working with her. She had a knack of making things a lot more fun.

She is survived by her children Rod Paul (Karen), Jamie Sturdevant, Jeff Sturdevant (Judy), and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Kimberly, Shelby, Jordan, Morgan, Dylan, Ricky, Alyssa, and Giavonna. Suzi was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and James Kuntz.

Memorial services for Suzi will be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Salisbury Humane Society, 5130 Citation Drive, Salisbury, MD 21804 or visit wicomicohumane.org .

Suzi will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.

She always made sure I saw Ocean City when I came here for a visit , even in the winter. We'd get Thrasher's fries and some kind of popcorn. It was always fun, especially for me! I love the Icean and she always took us! I'll ways remember her for that.

Suzi was one of a kind- a fun loving free spirit. There was always laughter when you were with Suzi! Suzi was always willing to help. She helped take care of my mom, Ruth and her mother, Maggie in their final years. It brought Ruth and Maggie real joy to have Suzi with them in Salisbury.
Our favorite family gatherings were in Ocean City with all the cousins. Suzi and her BFF, Barbara Lee entertained us with their skits and robust humor. They were a pair! I have so many memories I could share, but there is not enough space. I will always remember her love of animals. The dogs and cats that found their way to Suzi were the lucky ones!
RIP Suzi -Q Love, Connie "Sue"

I´ve had far too many memories with suzi, she was there when I took my first breathe. She always told me I was the light of her world and she was really the light of mine . sure was mine. She didn´t have favorites but if she did I´m sure it was me, I was her favorite not because of my actions or personality traits , but because I was with her ALL the time, she simply didn´t have a choice . I shared a bed with her till I was 13 . She and I would wake up at 3 am and go to work at Martin seafood almost every weekend when was I younger . She was also my Uber driver till I was 16. We would laugh, fight and cry together . She was the best grandmother anyone could ask for. I will miss her everyday I am alive until I take my last breathe. I´m so glad she met her great grand daughter , Giavonna, before she passed on. Until we meet again .

I always loved seeing Suzy-Q at every family function or gathering. She welcomed you with a big smile and hug that you knew was sincere. She had a great sense of humor was quick to laugh and truly made you feel she enjoyed your company. While I am certain that she had some of the most interesting stories, experiences and memories to share, many with her side-kick Barbara Lee, she generally listened more than she spoke...very unusual for our family. She was Bubbe´s best friend in the entire world and we spoke of her often, a phone call and conversation from Suzy made my Mom´s week. I will forever be grateful as she brought some of my favorite people in to my life. The world is not a better place with her not in it. She is loved and will always be missed by all who knew her...RIP.
