Sybil Chestnut Obituary

CHESTNUT, Sybil E. 92, formerly of Clearwater, died Feb. 27, 2011 in Palmetto. She was born in Coney Weston, Suffolk, England and was a WWII war bride. A longtime member of the Church of the Good Samaritan in Clearwater, she was active for many years with the Michigan Eastern Star and the Transatlantic Brides and Parents Assn. Predeceased in death by husband Howard, she is survived by son David of Parrish. Visitation at 4 pm March 2, Mansion Memorial Park, 1400 36th Ave. East, Ellenton, with services at 5 pm. Interment 11 am March 3, at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
