Sybil will truly be missed in our Writing for Enjoyment Group. She was a passionate writer and an enthusiastic participant. Over the many years that she attended, her stories and poems touched us in various ways, most often with a lesson to be learned or a chuckle to be had.
She made many friends in the group and gained the respect and admiration of everyone - not only with her diverse literary talents but with her insightfulness into life and the way she lived it.
We have lost a very special colleague. We will always remember Sybil with fond memories.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your mom.
Sybil was a wonderful competent pediatric nurse - an incredible role model for novice nurses. She was a lady with such common sense and wisdom.
She was a faithful friend.
You were a class act Sybil- you will be missed.

I was shocked to learn of Sybil's passing. I knew her from her days at 2W and 4W in Europe in the 1950s and '60s. She was a lovely lady. We were in contact a few yrs. ago We are both very proud of our children and grandchildren, so we had some lengthy long-distance phone conversations. My husband Don and I send you our sincere sympathy. Connie Enman, Halifax

My thoughts and prayers go to your family. Your mother and grandmother was a wonderful, caring and pragmatic person. She taught me a lot as a young nurse starting out. She will be missed by all.
With great respect,
