Syble Pace Harmon

ABERDEEN – Syble Pace Harmon, 93, died Sunday, February 28, 2016, at the Care Center of Aberdeen. She was born November 8, 1922, in Monroe County to Hosie Lee Pace and Helen Hand Pace. She was a lifelong resident of Monroe County. She was a sales clerk for Senters Drug Store. She was a member of the Aberdeen First Baptist Church. She worked in daycare on Sundays and was a door greeter on Sunday morning. She loved her brothers and sisters and loved taking care of kids at church. Most of all, she provided for her children.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with Bro. R.D. Cline and Bro. Harold Lollar officiating. Burial is in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge.
Survivors include daughters, Ann Hawkins (Bobby) of Hamilton, Barbara Bryant of Millington, Tenn., Ginger Hanna of Wren; son, Howard Harmon (Debbie) of Amory; sisters, Ruby Gilbert of Aberdeen and Delores Greer of Jackson; seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren and three step great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Holder Harmon; sisters, Nellie Herndon, Christine Criddle, and Cecile Plunkett; brothers, Billy Joe Pace, Wayne ""Pete"" Pace, and Thomas Pace. Pallbearers will be great-grandchildren, and honorary pallbearers will be Senior Members of Aberdeen First Baptist Church.
Visitation is, Feb. 29, 2016, 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
