Sheila Duda

Sheila Rae Duda, 63, of Fayette City, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, in Jefferson Regional Health Center with her family by her side. She was born Jan. 26, 1952, in Charleroi, a daughter of the late Harold and LaVerne Winstone Ferguson. She worked at Fox Grocery. She was a member of Fells Methodist Church and was well known for her special baking skills and Christmas decorating. Surviving are her husband, Andrew M. Duda; daughter, Jodi Lynn and husband, William Petyak, of Dayton, Ohio; son, Andrew Mark Duda Jr., of Fayette City; brother, David and wife, Audrey Ferguson, of Monessen; sister, Donna and husband, Joe Yurko, of Scenery Hill; and her special friends, Linda Fafalios, Julie Filander, Barb Eicher and Elsie Kowasic. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
