Mr. Sylvester Magee, Jr., 61, of Tylertown, Mississippi died on Monday, January 28, 2019, at the Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.


Born Thursday, August 22, 1957, in New Orleans, Louisiana he was the son of Mr. Sylvester Magee, Sr., and Mrs. Maude Brock Magee.


A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Mt. Moriah MBC, located at 149 Mt. Moriah Road, Tylertown, MS 39667 with the pastor Rev. Carl Bickham rendering the eulogy and officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery in Tylertown, Mississippi.


A visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Washington Funeral Home, located at 714 2nd Street, Tylertown, Mississippi 39667 and on Saturday, February 2, 2019, from 11:00 AM until service time at Mt. Moriah.
