Sylvia Pearl Obituary

MILO - Sylvia A. Pearl, 71, wife of 55 years to Norman Pearl Sr., died Aug. 30, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Oct. 31, 1937, daughter of the late Erlon and Iris Leathers. She is survived by six children: son, Norman Jr. and wife, Marilyn Garland, daughter, Wyona and husband, Leo Lizotte, of Pennsylvania, daughter, Mauri Pearl and special friend, Keith Stockley, of Dover-Foxcroft, daughter, Patty and husband, Howie Webb, of Medford, daughter, Julia and husband, Duane Smith, of Milo, and son, Kevin of Milo; daughter-in-law, Bonnie; 17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jeannine Conley of Connecticut, Carole and husband, Ramey Lewis, of Pennsylvania, and Nadine Chadbourne; brother, Warner Leathers and wife, Janice, of Rhode Island; many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her oldest son, Allen K. Pearl, Aug. 5, 2009; and two brothers-in-law, Larry Conley and Riley Chadbourne. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, at Evergreen Cemetery, Milo.
