Tamara Hess Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 13, 2013.
Tammy Hess of Marysville, WA died in her sleep with Bill, her devoted husband of over 41 years by her side. A memorial service will be held on Monday, 20th of May 2013 at 11:00AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 5212 7th Avenue NE Marysville, WA 98271. She will then be laid to rest at Mt. Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.

Tammy, a native of Lake Oswego, OR was a retired teacher, a beloved wife, Mother, and Grandmother as well as a proud American. She was a loud and loyal fan of both the Mariners and the Seahawks. Tammy loved reading, researching her family history, rescuing every animal she could, telling stories of her many travels as an Air Force wife, and spending time with her large family as often as her health would allow.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lawrence L. Myers and Cedella L. Kinney Myers of Lake Oswego, OR. as well as by her son SPC Jordan William Hess of Marysville, WA. She is survived by her husband Bill, her step-son Damon (wife Tracy, children Amber and Kyler), her son Lance (wife Gina, children Cameron, Ethan, and Garrett), her son Justin, her son Jared (wife Jaylene, children Jayla and Jessa), her son Adin (wife Shelly, children Angelina, Suriel, and Desi), her son Brendan (wife Amy, son Ray), and her daughter Ashley (husband Chris, child Maddox).

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider donations to T.A.P.S. (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) to support the family members of our nations fallen heroes.

Bill, while I never had the pleasure of meeting Tammy, I feel as if I did know her as she was brought to life through you and the many stories you shared with your Boeing family. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Bless you my friend. Linda Cameron

She loved her Family and her church. Her last few months-no matter her pain-she was suffering, she also showed love and compassion to her Family and her friends. As for us, we will always remember her presence at the hospital and recuperation periods we went through--she has deepley touched our hearts,
