Tammy Renee' (Gaylor) Cooper, 37, a former Coalgate resident, now of McAlester, died Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009, in McAlester.Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brown's Chapel with the Rev. Bill Weathers and Danny Ward officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Coalgate.Born Aug. 12, 1971, in Ada, she was the daughter of Harvey Carl and Betty Clairine (Kirby) Gaylor. She attended Cottonwood and Coalgate school, graduating in 1989.She married Clay Cooper on Jan. 22, 2003, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was a homemaker and dental assistant.She was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband, Clay Cooper, of McAlester; stepchildren, Rebecca Cooper, Clay Cooper II and Dakota Cooper; brothers, Charles Gaylor and wife, Francis, of Coalgate, and Harvey Joe Gaylor and wife, Dorothy, of Coalgate; sisters, Vickie Hefley and husband, Mike, of Coalgate, and Nancy Parry and husband, Kevin, of Coalgate; mother-in-law, Barbara Cooper, of McAlester.Also, uncles, Lucky Kirby and wife, Connie, of Sulphur, Paul Williams and wife, Tammy, of Coalgate, Floyd Gaylor, of Coalgate, Billy Ray Gaylor and wife, Melba, of Coalgate, and Ralph Williams, of Lexington; brother-in-law, Robin Watts and wife, Audrey, Conroe, Texas; sisters-in-law, Janice Kelly and husband, Drake, of Enid, and Janet Lattini, Fairfield, Calif.; great-aunt, Juanita Lee, of Coalgate, and numerous other relatives, nieces, nephews and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Carl and Betty Clairine (Kirby) Gaylor; brother, Jimmy Gaylor, and father-in-law, Ellis Lee Cooper.Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Reynolds, Keith Meadows, Ronald Clark, Daryl Whitacre, Rita Smith, David Gaylor and Chris Gaylor Manion.
